“Riley Renovations installed a new deck and tea room for my wife, Robina Hogan. Robina’s dream project was to have a tea room, similar to a sun room with structure but more formal. Robina had a picture in her head of how she wanted the room to look. Robb of Riley Renovations talked with Robina and myself and understood what Robina wanted. It began with a rough sketch on a piece of scratch paper and the results were a showcase room that met or exceeded Robina’s expectations. Robb demolished the old screen-in porch and deck and built the tea room and an expanded new deck.  The old deck and porch were on my middle level of a three level home or approximately 10 feet off the ground.  The new deck was larger and much more attractive and robust than my old deck. Robb’s engineer and architect were receptive to our ideas and professional. Robb’s contractors for electrical, painting and staining, plumbing, brick mason, roofing and guttering, and flooring were courteous and quality minded professionals. Robb’s employees and contractors are the type of professionals that you would allow in your home without any reservations. The workmanship, quality of materials, attention to detail, and follow-up are all outstanding.

The project cost was approximately $85,000. The tea room is 15 ft by 15 ft and has hardwood flooring, Minisplit duck less heat pump and wall unit, beaded board ceiling, top of the line Pella windows and French door. The new deck is 21.5 ft by 15.5 ft.

I would highly recommend Riley Renovations to anyone for home improvement projects, remodeling, or additions. Robina and I are receptive for any of Robb’s potential customers to tour our project on a request and appointment only basis through Riley Renovations.”

“This is a letter of recommendation for Robb Riley and his construction firm. Over the last year, Robb Riley and his men have undertaken muliple jobs and projects at Gaston Eye Associates. Their prices seem fair and reasonable, and their work was done in a timely fashion with minimal to no disruption in our office which is a medical office that they had to work within. They were conscientious of our ongoing operations and kept the work areas clean. When we had a dispute with quality of some cabinetry that was placed, Mr. Riley insured that we had the appropriate resolution of the conflict with the subcontractor and someone was employed to redo the job in the appropriate form.

I would recommend Robb Riley and his crew without reservations for any project that may be available since my experiene with him has been very positive.”

I recently purchased an old home that needed some cosmetic renovations. I'm extremely pleased with the results. Both Steve and George were very professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Robb Riley gave me some excellent suggestions and even went the extra mile and helped me with a problem I was having with my exterior painting contractor. They were excellent about keeping my home clean during the renovations, and keeping me updated on progress. The only frustration I had was that the renovations took about twice as long as originally expected. However, all of the work was done in three months and was worth the wait!

Description Of Work:
We have a 1970's ranch with a built out basement. We had two very long narrow bathrooms on the main floor. One was in the master bedroom, the second was literally right next to it in the hallway. We combined both bathrooms into one large space and then subdivided into one very large master bathroom and a half bath for guests. The job required complete gutting of the old space and then building it back up from there. The job included all framing, flooring, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, tile work and all finish work. The only thing Riley Renovations did not handle was the painting, for that I had to get a separate contractor.

Robb and his team of subcontractors did a great job. We are very pleased with the finished product. We had some problems along the way with unexpected issues, but that is to be expected on any large project. Riley Renovations handled them all. We provided most of the product, and they did all the installations. Their tile guy does great work, he followed the pattern design I had created and it came out perfectly. The plumber was meticulous and very detailed in getting things done right, so I am confident we won't have any plumbing problems. We ran into some small budgeting problems involving some details in the scope of work, but Robb and I worked through those issues and came to an amicable resolution. The project stayed on schedule in general and all was done according to code. I really am very pleased with the finished product. I would highly recommend Riley Renovations to anyone doing a big job.
